Shane Wallin

Shane Wallin is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. From 2001 to 2009, he has established a robust presence as a capable and desirable solo artist in Albuquerque’s live music scene, playing across the city in a variety of eclectic venues. Influenced by his intense desire to love and understand others in order to make a positive difference in the world, Shane graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BA in Comparative Theology. His interest in spirituality, and the belief that love can transcend any cultural divide has shaped his music and plays a pivotal role in his life.

Shane Wallin began playing guitar in his senior year in high school. His music is described as being comfortably nestled between pop, rock, and soul. In his latest CD “This Year Has Changed Me,” Shane deftly weaves swaying vocals into sensitive guitar melodies that are punctuated by strongly defined bass riffs. All the songs maintain a positive vibe, and the lyrics reflect a yearning for self discovery. Shane believes that forward-looking lyrics, which reflect a progressive outlook in all situations, are essential to the mapping of his musical experiences.
